‘Beyond Scott’ for Intel

Turns out that data can fuel great stories. When Intel sponsored polar explorer, Ben Saunders, to complete Captain Scott's 'Terra Nova' expedition, we recreated Ben’s Antarctic expedition using from the data he collected from the three months he was out on the ice.

This experience used four different types of data that Ben collected: satellite (GPS), topographic and weather data combined with Ben's own personal data - Facebook and Instagram posts.

It remains Intel's most successful social campaign to date, and was shortlisted for a Cannes Data Lion.
